Antelope Valley

the Antelope Valley is also known as 'the Aerospace Valley', The Department
of Airports has acquired over 33 square miles of land for the construction
of the Palmdale Intercontinental Airport- the largest airport in the
world.- six times larger than Los Angeles International Airport. The
construction date of the Airport has not been determined.
The
Fabulous Antelope Valley is only a 55 minute drive from Hollywood and
Beverly Hills. Recently, the U.S. Congress has awarded 19
billion dollars to Antelope Valley to build the Stealth Bomber, Global
Hawk, Joint Stike Fighter Aircraft and the Anti Missile Projects.
According
to Los Angeles Times reports dated November 23, 1999, Los Angeles County's
growth spurt pushes north. Northern Los Angeles County will experience
dramatic growth in the coming decade. Palmdale-Lancaster area of Antelope
Valley is expected to emerge as center of growth in Northern Los Angeles
as urban Los Angeles pushes into the last remaining open space in the
county.
